At Eledone, we automate sales administration for wholesalers and manufacturers. Until now, our technology handled part of the incoming flow of orders and quotes, with a final human validation.
For the past few weeks, and for our first customers, the agents of our new platform have been able to carry out a large share of sales administration tasks fully autonomously.

What has changed
Until now, the journey of an order or a quote was linear: the Eledone agent read the document and prepared the entry, then a member of the sales team checked and validated each entry before it reached the ERP. AI saved time, but a human remained a mandatory step for every document.
Today, it is no longer just the flow of orders and quotes that is concerned, but all customer requests. Our autonomous agents handle them end to end and feed the ERP directly, following the rules defined with each customer. Sales teams are no longer in the middle of the flow: they sit above it, steering the agents.
We are delighted with these advances, which will allow us to bring considerable value to our customers. But they also require us to build solutions that support the transition.
Why the transition needs support
The work of sales teams has to change, because a number of tasks no longer make sense for humans in the age of AI: retyping order lines, checking a price that is already in the ERP, answering an availability question, following up on a quote.
But this transition has to be thought through, and the time saved has to be used wisely. Without support, there is a twofold risk:
- teams who no longer know what their role is when the agent does most of the processing;
- freed-up time that fades away instead of turning into value for customers and for the company.
Our approach: a system built around your existing teams
We now offer a system built around your existing teams, which lets them make the most of our agents and effectively reallocate their time to high-value work. In practice, the teams’ role evolves around three missions:
- Steering the agents: defining the rules, monitoring what the agents handle, taking back control on the cases that need it.
- Handling complex cases: exceptions, sensitive disputes, requests that fall outside the usual framework.
- Developing customer relationships and revenue: account management, advice, sales follow-ups, cross-selling.
The job is changing. The transition needs support: it is now a full part of what we build with our customers.
